Starting a handyman business does not take a huge amount of capital, it does however take common sense and some business savvy. For example you need to spend time learning about the business you are planning on starting. You might want to contact SCORE. (www.score.org) This organization is made up of retired people who will help new and existing business owners with their businesses. You also need to get out in the community you will be serving and find out what they need and want. Keep your wits about you, do not go into debt buying a new truck and lots of tools. Rent specialty tools when you can, make sure you do routine maintenance on your truck to keep it running for as long as possible.

Start small. But be sure you get started. My free report will give you some good ideas on ways to get customers for no or low cost, and its free. Remember, use common sense when starting your handyman business.
